P2P technology is continually developing itself so as to keep at pace with the modernization of
digital information systems. Thus, various software developers of P2P client applications are continually testing the programs that they have developed for efficiency and security. With this, they release new versions of their programs in case a certain feature of their programs' prior versions do not answer the users' needs for security and efficiency.
With this, the Morpheus program has released a new version that doesn't have bundled third-party applications. Earlier versions of this program had spyware and various third-party applications, but the recent version only has an integrated banner ad. Yes, this new version of the Morpheus P2P client application is now free from spyware and various malware which are within the third-party applications that the program's earlier versions come bundled with.
If you have an
old Morpheus version, I would suggest uninstalling it and then purging your system from the malware that it also had installed on your system. Always remember to uninstall it first before purging your system from malware. This is because most bundled malware with infected P2P client programs are to be found within the main program's system installation folders. Deleting these files first before uninstalling the main program would not purge your system from malware. Aside from this, it would leave you with a non-functioning program that cannot be uninstalled from your system! Thus, you'd be having malware plus an unusable program which cannot be unistalled from your system! All this because you didn't remember what I have suggested here on my post.
