I first tried using file sharing technology during the time I found myself confused whether the running presidential candidate was indeed the former president or a man with just the same name. I finally figured that out before I even knew how to maximize the fullest potential of P2P! With access to free downloads, who wouldn't want the fastest multiple downloads at the shortest possible time! By the time I turn a month older than my current age, I would have, by then, the greatest mp3 collection on the planet! That is, if I could maximize P2P's fullest potential.
My sincerest gratitude goes out to those nice computer technologists who bring about rapid developments on already
high-tech information technology for creating what we now call DSL. Hey, it may not be even close to faster than light internet connections, but I guess it's a good try as well! Especially when it comes to P2P, which would bring about faster downloads than what my dial-up connection provided me back then.
DSL capabilities on P2P. Now that's just a sweet combination of speed and liberty! Imagine when the time comes that people all over the world are on a single P2P network, and internet connection speeds goes way beyond DSL or even T1. It wouldn't then just be an information superhighway, for it would be a single converged global computer! Imagine a folder for each person in the world, with subfolders a person can either share or restrict access of others to it. Now DSL is very promising, for it would definitely lead to faster internet connection speeds, and by then, P2P would have created a global network!
