With
digital information technology comes free information. With digital communications come free communication systems. Then why the hell is information the only free thing of the two? As I have rationally understood this concept, the answer would be "not yet," not quite yet for the latter. But for the former, thank the not-so digital heavens for P2P technology! It's still in the drawing room, and I can see the signs. Yes, but the mark of the beast has nothing to do with these signs!
The main sign for the development of free communication systems would be those free Series 60 applications. If you don't know what they are, then that would mean you still haven't deciphered the difference between science and technology. Too sad for you, but read on, my brother.
You see, mobile phones, specifically Series 60 cellphones, have an operating system too. Yes, just like the computer you're using to read what I have written here. So, what would you do with an operating system? Wouldn't there be literally thousands of applications that are compatible to run on your mobile phone's operating system? But wouldn't the development of these mobile phone applications cost the developers both time and money? Now if this were the case, wouldn't they charge a specific sum of cash for each application they have successfully designed? Wouldn't you, a mobile phone user, would want these applications? But what, then, if you don't have the money to buy these programs!
The secret, my friend, is your P2P client. Yes, just do a search for those applications with s60 as the search string, and about a thousand or so downloadable archives, .sis files, etc. would literally pop up on your P2P program's search result window. Just remember, you take the risk personally, and not someone else. Keep this in mind, and I would give you a nice suggestion for downloading those series 60 applications absolutely free. Do a search for it on the EMule P2P program. You're bound to find whatever
s60 application you're looking for! In line with this, wouldn't it just take a certain mobile phone operating system to communicate with each other just by using an internet connection? Wouldn't wireless internet connectivity be the answer for such a mobile phone operating system? With this, wireless internet connectivity would provide an affordable information and communication system. Yes, wireless is still affordable, but I'm afraid it would soon be free with further developments being done on wireless internet technology.
